Back In Action

Well, we finally did it. We are back on the blog. It took us awhile to remember our blog address,(actually, I got it from my mom) but we are finally back in action and just might post blogs on here more than once a year. No promises, but we'll see.

This video was from Friday. Tess helped her off the bed, and then pointed her in the direction of a laundry basket. She took off after it. Then, we had her walk back and forth between us for about 10 or 15 minutes. She hasn't really wanted to walk too much since then, but we are still trying. Baby steps, right? (Ha ha, I am so funny.)

Hope you enjoyed our video. We will try and keep this blog more up to date.

The Bouncer Baby

So here is our little girl. She can literally sit and bounce in this chair for hours. Believe me, I know, we have tried it. We sit her in it all the time and go about our daily business. Tess sticks her in it when she is cooking, cleaning, and/or working from home. I put her in it when I am doing dishes or something else that requires two hands. She doesn't really seem to mind. As long as we give some attention to her every now and then, she is happy to just bounce. It is so much fun to watch her just bounce. It makes Tess and I smile.

My first blog

Well, here we go. I am still not sure what it is I am doing with a blog, but I have some time to kill waiting for my wife and baby to come back to me after their week in California and I decided to go with the advise of my family and make a blog.

Tess took our baby to California last Monday to show her off, leaving me all alone in our empty and quiet home. Tess was able to be there for her youngest brother last week as he had his Eagle Scout Court of Honor and his High School Graduation. Also, it was the first time that Tess' brothers and dad could meet and hold Lacee.

I was left behind to hold down the fort. The first day was nice to have all to myself. But, soon the quiet and loneliness set in and all I had was the computer, books, and work to keep me company. It will be nice to have them home again. There is just nothing going on here. I miss the excitement and, I'll admit it, the noises of a baby. (Yes, even the crying I miss, sometimes.)
